Promoting teamwork, discipline, and physical wellness through structured sports activities. Youth build confidence, stay active, and learn leadership skills on and off the field.

Providing one-on-one and group tutoring to help students strengthen reading, math, and study skills. We support academic growth, build confidence, and help youth stay on track in school.

Empowering youth through painting, drawing, music, and hands‑on creative expression that builds confidence, emotional wellness, and communication skills. Our workshops help children process feelings and discover their unique voice.

Offering safe, supportive spaces where youth learn coping skills, emotional regulation, and healthy communication. Our wellness workshops blend creative arts, mentorship, and mental health education.

Preparing youth and community members for success in the workforce through resume reviews, mock interviews, job training, and seasonal paid internships. Participants learn essential workplace skills such as punctuality, teamwork, and dependability.

6th Annual Fish ’N Kids Community Fishing Day
The 6th Annual Fish ’N Kids Community Fishing Day returns on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, bringing families, youth, and community partners together for a morning of outdoor fun, mentorship, and connection. From 9AM–12PM at 3000 Rochester St., Dallas, TX 75215, children will enjoy a fully stocked lake, free fishing gear, hands‑on support from local leaders, and a welcoming space to learn, explore, and build confidence.

Clothing Drive
Our community is stronger when we lift each other up — and this June, It’s About The Kids, Inc., in partnership with Phill the Box and Sunlight Missionary Baptist Church, is coming together to do exactly that.
From June 1st–30th, we’re hosting a Clothing Drive to support the families and youth we serve every day. Your gently used clothing can help fund programs that provide mentorship, stability, and hope.
