Journey Together Transportation Fund
Reliable transportation opens doors. We are raising funds to purchase the community van that will safely transport youth, families, and senior citizens to essential appointments, educational opportunities, and community events.
This van will allow us to:
- Take seniors to and from medical appointments
- Provide field trips for all IATK programs (Creative Arts, STEM, Literacy, Job Readiness)
- Transport adults to their first job interviews
- Pick up volunteers and families for grocery runs, workshops, and events
- Ensure youth can attend leadership conferences, festivals, and learning experiences
- Strengthen community connection through safe, dependable transportation
This is the exact van we are working to purchase — and your support brings us one step closer to putting it on the road.

The Little Library Project
Fueling Our Reading & Literacy Program
Our Reading & Literacy Program is one of our most important initiatives — and the Little Library Project is at its heart. We install mini-libraries in apartment complexes and neighborhoods where access to books is limited, giving youth a chance to explore stories that inspire creativity, confidence, and curiosity.
Your donation helps us build, stock, and maintain these libraries while supporting reading circles, literacy workshops, and take-home reading kits.
Every IATK program requires hands-on materials that help youth learn, create, and explore. Your donation ensures each student has what they need to participate fully — from art supplies and robotics materials to literacy kits and interview outfits.
Community Program Development
Building a Home for Our Programs
We are working toward a long-term vision: a permanent home for all IATK programs. The IATK Community Resource Center will be a safe, welcoming hub where youth, families, and seniors can learn, grow, and access essential resources.
Your support helps us secure and renovate a building that will house classrooms, a thrift-style clothing section, a community meeting space, and a central hub for all programs.
