PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Building Champions On and Off the Court
Reel Champions is our youth and family fishing club designed to strengthen mental wellness, build confidence, and create meaningful intergenerational connections. We believe fishing is more than a sport — it’s a calming, grounding experience that teaches patience, focus, emotional regulation, and resilience.
Fishing gives youth a chance to slow down, breathe, and connect with nature. It also creates powerful bonding moments between fathers and sons, parents and children, and families who want to grow closer through shared outdoor experiences.

Our History
Our fishing journey began in 2018, when we launched our first Outdoor Community Fishing Day to bring families together and introduce youth to the healing power of nature. What started as a simple community event has grown into a signature part of our nonprofit — now known as the Reel Champions Fishing Club.
Since then, we’ve continued to host seasonal lake days, youth mentoring sessions, and family‑centered outdoor activities that strengthen mental health and community bonds.
